OT: Best Place to Buy Wooden Blocks?

This is off topic, but I know many of you have children.


Where is the cheapest place to buy wooden building blocks? I guess I should say, where are the _best_ blocks for the _best_ price? I would like a complete set (arches, wedges, regular shapes, cylinders, etc.). Any websites? Stores?

Cheapest... I have seen them in thrift stores, Goodwill stores, and even the "free" exchange store. The exchange store is a bring a bag, take a bag concept thing.


I saw them recently at the Goodwill, and I bet garage sales would have them as well

I have bought several sets as gifts from The Chrsitmas Tree Shops. Don't know if you have one of those near you.

www.ltdcommodities.com has a nice block set that I bought for my nephew last year. Just search for blocks. I think it was about $4.95 and had around 50 pieces.
