Im looking for the gifts you are either getting your children or have gotten them that they either wanted the most or have enjoyed the most. I am starting my christmas shopping and Im not completely sure what I want to get and what I want to avoid. Ideas you are using would be great.

Interesting question...

For DD6 it would definitely be her American Girl Doll
DD8 her mountain bike and Ipod

Art supplies and the computer get a lot of use in our house also.

I am sure I will think of a couple more things in time.

Without a doubt it would the year we got them each a new bike. :santa: They also got new helmets, pads and water bottle. ;)
Happy Shopping

Thanks keep the ideas coming we were thinking bikes for dd's birthday (spring) hoping their bikes will hang in there till then. I like the American girl doll idea. Which Doll are you getting? I am looking at Nikki, Kit, or Kaya?

We have Nikki but honestly she is played with the least. We also have Samantha, Emily, and one of the Just like You dolls. The reason she does not play with Nikki as much is b/c she has curly hair so it is not as easy to do the hair. My girls dress the dolls up and style their hair. I am getting Julie (the new doll) b/c I think the hair will be really easy to style.

For the first time in years my girls have no "favorite" thing they really want. We are thinking about Ipods and a motorized scooter.

One of their favorite things from last year was a $20.00 2 person tent. It is small enough to stay set up. This is their clubhouse. Whenever friends come over this is the first thing they want to do. They also enjoy sleeping in it.

Thanks for the tip on Nikki!
These are all really good ideas. I just ordered some games for my 3 ds's
dvd pokemon game
dvd ben 10 game
press your luck
poke something game
got darling niece dvd dance revolution game she wanted.
My oldest son loves games. I still want to get the pirates of the carribean treasure hunt game

Last year, we actually bought our boys (now 10 and 13) a ping pong table for Christmas. It is one that folds up so it doesn't take up too much room (it stays in the garage) and it was their favorite thing and they still like it a lot.

His favorite toy is his "$10 with a purchase of $50 or more" stuffed giraffe from Macy's. :headache:
If only I knew that before Santa brought all of that other stuff last year.

I was actually thinking of getting my niece an American Girl doll this year for a Christmas/Birthday gift. Then I found out that sadly, they too are made in China. I just really don't think I can bring myself to do it. Kind of like the American Flag t-shirts they sell every year in Old Navy that are made in Indonesia. I have to draw the line somewhhere. Sorry to get OT.

A trip to Disney World for her and her best friend! (at least I hope it will be the best gift ever.... I'd need to let you know 12/26) :)
