Watch his inbox. My dd's had some cute american girl videos and like you it was a great boost to their self esteem... then in their inbox, they got some messages sent(not comments, messages to the inbox part of their channel). Then dd 10's account got hacked(surprised as her password was a combination of letters and number)... and they commented on a nasty video under her username. I could not believe it. She was freaked out and so was I. So sad. I ended up putting all the videos on private.

Thanks for the heads up. My husband has control over the account and has been keeping an eye on it. Originally we had comments enabled by default. The first one had the acronym for Whiskey,Tango,Foxtrot, lol.

My son said "what does that mean"
I was able to show him all of the wonderful comments on here, what a great group of people here

I am trying to figure out how to block where people can send a message to the inbox.... does your hubby know how to do this?? We didn't have any issues with the comments(thus far) but a few idiots sent messages to the inbox that were bad. I reported them and thankfully dd didn't open them.

Not sure. My son does not have access to the account at all. He only views the video as a public user. Sorry I could not be of more help
