Anyone happen to know at what point Osceola Parkway (west, toward Animal Kingdom) ceases to be a public road and becomes a (Disney) private road? I'm assuming it isn't a public road into the Animal Kingdom parking plaza, at least, though I don't know really.

Actually though, at what point does the parkway come under Disney/Reedy Creek control? Can Disney make major changes to (or even abandon/close altogether, for that matter) the road at the point where it enters Disney property (Reedy Creek Improvement District), or at what point can they exert such control?

I believe that all of the roadways fall under reedy creek and are considered public roads. Hence they are patrolled by the county police, etc. If they were "private" roads there would be some legal implications to that. I am sure it gets into the complicated roles defined by reedy creek/disney partnership.
