Osborne lights?

I'm working on my plan for our December trip and I'm not sure where/how the Osborne lights fit into our HS day. Does anyone know where/when the lights are on? Will we be able to see the lights AND see Fantasmic? I recall on our last trip by the time we navigated the crowd out of F! the park was closed. Since F! starts at 6:30 I'm assuming we would head there right after dinner and before that I don't think it will be dark? So, how do we see those lights???

Light normally go on at 6:15. So if Fantasmic is at 6;30 I suggest you seem them afterwards. you wont have any time before Fantasmic. Even if the park is closed you can still walk over there. Normally you are allowed to stay 1 hour after park closing. Yes its not encouraged as the CM do want to go home however you can do it and they wont say anything.
