osborne lights viewing tips

Wonder what the best strategy would be for the 28th? As someone said fantasmic is at 8pm, we have a PS at 5:05 at sci-fi,
Do you think we will have time to see the lights and still grab our seats for fantasmic?????

I am so excited for this christmas trip!

hi Maci from what everyone has said, sounds like you could see the lights after fantasmic. i would go to get seats for fantasmic right after dinner if i were you, just to be safe if there are still lots of seats left you could decide then if you have time to see the lights first.

Last year there was no display of Osborne Lights at MGM at Christmas! They couldn't fit it in with the stunt show going up on New York St. Has anyone heard for sure that Osborne Lights will be returning this year? I can't find any info on this. TIA!

Hey FINFAN.....I am a longtime Dolphin fan too....Did SUnday night want to make you throw the remote thru the TV.....McMichael did what the coaches should have done to that offensive line......But the Defense still made it a game....I was proud of the D.....I have all my Marino memorobilia on display at work and at home.....

I can't wait for the The Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights for this year, too.

I really missed it last year, and I'm curious about how the new walking path will be set-up.

In the past it was neat to walk down those backlot streets and see all the houses surrounded by millions of light. And the entrance to the backlot street was so colorful with all the angels and all sorts of figures, and lights all around you and above you.

So it might be a lot different this year with the backlot no longer there and that is a good thing. Something brand new that I have never seen.

The snowing at night time with all the five million lights is always so cool to see. It can't help but put a smile on your face.

I hope that they hand out those 3-D glasses again. They some how incorporate different images that react with each bright light area that you look at. I still have some that look like angels everywhere you look. I can't remember what the other year's symbols were. They are also great to watch any fireworks with, too.

I hope that someone will post some new information soon.

When we saw the Osbourne Lights a couple of years ago there was a big board posted at the entrance with all the stats (# of light strands, etc.). I took a close picture of this sign.....it turned out great & is a neat addition to my photo album along with all the photos of the lights I took.
