Osborne Light's Merry and Bright Dessert Party and Dinner reception?

We will be at the Dinner Party on January 3rd.

Take this with a liberal salting due to the source, but the cast member I spoke with about the shadowbox seemed to be under the impression that it will contain one of the actual lightbulbs from the spectacle. If I recall correctly, they recently replaced the bulbs with LED lights so I am wondering if it is one of the old bulbs that got replaced.

Sadly I will only be able to attend the dessert party so although that sounds REALLY cool, I am more interested in seeing if the blanket is worth skipping the Christmas party for......

Just got back from viewing the lights on the first "official" opening night. I know there was a soft opening. They were beautiful as usual. Of course it was crowded when they switched them on but it was amazing. So upset this is the last year. Walked passed the party area and not all tables were taken but lots of people walking around. We did not do the party. We enjoy walking around and as the party area is just one spot j am fine that we didn't do it.

Thanks for the review yulilin3! I have to say that I am thinking of canceling now. The blanket is a let down. I thought it would have been along the lines of the castle with lights blanket. The food isn't exactly what I thought either. I guess I was hoping for some cupcakes and lots of different Christmas cookies. I'll have to think it over.

I am excited to see the lights though!

Loved all your pictures. Sad the blanket doesn't have a bit more detail to it, though. Glad you guys had a good time. Lewis and I are thinking about canceling and holding out that the shadow box for the dinner reception is nicer than the blanket.
I would hold out for dinner as well.

I was hoping the blanket would be like the castle lights as well. You're right about the cookies as well, not even gingerbread

thank you for your support. I only did it because it would be the last year.

THANK YOU for doing the party and the review! The blanket is definitely a let down. We will be switching over to a Christmas party today instead! I appreciate reading your review!

I like that the picture on the website shows cake pops but it doesn't sound like they even had cake pops!
Exactly!! Where are the cute cake pops from the picture? I was also hoping for some holiday Mickey cupcakes and cookies.

Now I'm trying to decide if I should cancel this and just do a dessert party during MVMCP (my date isn't sold out yet). I'm kind of let down by not only the blanket but the desserts as well.

Thanks! I'm holding off on this now...allows me to cover the cost of MVMCP and we're heading there first few week of December. Hoping to have dinner and wander through closer to closing when crowds abate!

Great review, thank you! I think I'm going to cancel, not impressed with the blankets at all. Maybe we'll switch to a Christmas party instead.
