Disney has posted the dates regarding
the Osborne Family Lights...

Nov. 28 2008 - Jan. 4, 2009

Thanks for this Robo!! I don't know why the other sit is assuming or stating that the Osborne Lights will be starting on the 28th of November.

Unless it comes out of Disney's mouth (or on their website) please don't believe it.

The logic (maybe it is just hope, really) is that someone at Disney keyed-in the wrong info for DHS based on the start-dates for Holiday IllumiNations (et al) at Epcot
which does start on Nov. 28 this year.

I'm also hoping the Osborne Lights start when MVMCP does! The last two years it did. (crossing fingers). This is our first trip - and the pics of the lights look amazing.

We're another family hoping for an earlier start for Osborne Lights. Some family members can't travel between Thanksgiving and New Years, so we looked at last year's schedule and decided on the week before Thanksgiving when last year at least there were some Christmas things scheduled. We're staying at BCV and thought how nice it would be to take the DGC on the boat to see the Osborne Lights.

First, I was pulled in by the waiting for Nov. hours thread - now this one. Why do we have to go through this again? I am hoping for the MVMCP start date. We arrive that day but going to MVMCP on the 14th.

Is SSW messing with the start date?

I just wish that Disney would have released the Osborne Lights times when they released the november and december hours. Than we could have avoided the "rumor" starting and the "people-panicing".

I think everyone is so keyed-up over Disney not posting Nov. hours that it is forgotten that many of these events are USUALLY not announced until July or even later in the Summer.

It will be revealed...

Well, hi gang,

You know I've got the time and the patience. I survived the November Hours Posting thread.....guess I will survive this one too!

Here's hoping for very early Osbourne lights up and ready to shine~!

That is good to know. Being our first trip - I didn't realize the events are posted later. I appreciate that information.
