That is so interesting that you say that. When I called to change my dinning reservations I could only get the Brown Derby at 7 but I knew from this thread that the lighting was at 6 and since we will be there with all the crowds I wanted to be WELL done with dinner before hand so I decided against the Brown Derby and went with the only other thing I could get for our large party of 7 which was 5:40 at Hollywood and Vine. That is STILL cutting it close and we will STILL miss the beginning as it is. But it was ALL I could get. I live in CA and purposely got up at 4 a.m. on the proper day to get all my ressies and then they pull THIS. Had I known I needed to get a ressie on the day after thanksgiving I would have made one on my 180 day mark but originally I hadn't planned on going to the parks that day and then THIS happened so by the time I determined I better switch that was all that was left.
I realize that it is a walkthru but still. By the time we finish eating I am sure it is going to be packed back there. And is the snow continuous? Will we miss anything if we get back there after the lighting? Say by 6:30?
As it is we are probably going to have to go to DHS 1 and a half days now because I know that that park is going to be PACKED to the gills that day A) because it is day after thanksgiving and B) cuz it is first day of the lights and everyone who is leaving after thanksgiving week is going to try and see them before they leave.
UGH!!!
