Orly Airport Transfer - Please Help Me!

Hello!

I am new to this! We are a family of four (kids 4 and 8) going to DLRP for the first time 6th - 9th March 2006. We are all very excited.

We are flying to Orly airport and land at 8.30am. As it runs at this time in the morning, we plan to take the VEA shuttle to the hotel Cheyenne, where will be spending three exciting nights.

Now, coming home is worrying me a little. We fly at 9.30 am. The VEA shuttle doesn't start running from the hotel Cheyenne until 7.45 am, so this is far too late for us. I have been looking at private txis and also shuttle vans, but have become confused and worried about it all.

I really don't want to spoil the exciting build up to our trip, or indeed the trip itself, by worrying over a return transfer.

Can anyone advise me?? What's the best thing to do. Hire a car, taxi, mini bus?? Any companies to recommend?

Any help would be greatly appreciatred, and also any pointers as to where to go and what to do first! Any help really! And also, when we are due to arrive at DLRP in the morning, will we get any breakfast?

Hello breakfastmonster - welcome to the DIS!

Have you had a look at this thread - you can also find it in "Useful Information Threads" at the top of this board.

If you go down to the bottom of the information, you will find links to various private shuttle companies. (Eurominibus seems like a reasonable option) Although quite pricey, I think this is your best option for an early morning departure.

Hi breakfastmonster, welcome to the DIS.

You won't be allocated any breakfast for the morning you arrive but there are lots of lovely places where you could grab something in the parks. Here is a very good guide on all the eating places at DLRP.
