Orlando to Tampa Travel Time?

Does anyone know for sure how far is the drive from Orlando to Tampa in hours? Thanks.

We went to BG from Kissimmee in July and from memory it took just over an hour. I suppose it depends on exactly your start and end points but that will give you a bit on an idea

Same here - we flew into TPA and stayed at WH for a week in Feb 08. Took about an hour and a few minutes, from leaving TPA to our front door - about the same going back. I've heard it can take longer, but we didn't have any traffic problems at all. In fact, we felt like we were on rural roads the whole way. YMMV..

We fly into tampa alot and travel to kissimme... it usually takes us about an hour and a half depending at what time you travel.

We've driven to and from Orlando from the Tampa airport several times. Has usually taken us an hour.

But, if you are driving to catch a flight, I'd allow a minimum of 90 min. One year (2005), we were driving from the Tampa airport to WDW and it took us 2 hours due to a big traffic jam due to a very bad car accident on the road. So sad about the accident......also, we were glad we weren't driving to catch a flight, but rather to check into our hotel.
