We have my step son right now so we're taking him. DH and I wouldn't go if it were just the two of us, we'd rather go to a B&B. Although they do have a really good buffet for dinner.

And now for a Buzz Disney trip update.....

As most of you probably remember, our August 2012 got canned due to a work project for DH that could not be postponed. I'm getting verklempt here because had we been able to go on the trip, we would have been able to meet Nebo and Smidgy in person, as this was prior to Nebo's fall outside of CHH.

Fast forward to the present day. Little DD was born on 11/15/12 and due to the numerous cases of seasonal flu going around, she and I have basically become hermits ala Gollum or recluse ala Miss Havisham at the directive of her pediatrician through her first eight weeks. And no, I don't go around saying precious yet or walk around in a wedding dress yet.

Anywho, DD has her two month checkup on 1/21/13 and this is when we will get the final word on whether the winter trip, with my parents along for a few days, is a go or not. Like a good parent, I don't want to risk little DD getting sick, but on the other hand, like the Disney junkie I am, I want to hear "Good Morning, Good Morning" in the worst kinda way.

I was hoping the seasonal flu would make an appearance late this year, like it has in the past few years and none of this would be in question.

DH and I planned to head to WDW with the baby a few days before the other kids came down with my parents so we could enjoy World Showcase with its entertainment options. We would arrive on 1/30/13 and my parents and older kiddos would arrive on 2/2/13.

If this doesn't happen, I am considering moving the trip, minus my parents, to late April. DS and DD have birthdays in April so we could celebrate them. Or DS is asking to go to SWW again this year, so that's an option as well, with maybe a side trip to Legoland.

Buzz herself(see I need to get out of the house) really wants to go back during the Christmas season so ideally I would love to have two trips to look forward to.

I say all this to ask you guys to cross your fingers for us. If we can't do January/February, it looks like January 2015 will be the earliest my parents will be able to experience the world with us.

On a brighter, more definite note, the Buzz family will be celebrating the New Year by setting our town off in a barrage of fireworks!

Just kidding, we will only be setting off our yard in fireworks! Let me know if you can see them Pkondz!

He is 10 months, they think purebred, and bigger than my 5 year old. Lots of excitement over here.

The last time I attended a back yard fireworks party I had a mortar shell fire off of my chest! It then ricocheted into the next yard and exploded there. Scared the heck out of me. At first I though it might be a pointy sky rocket embeded in my chest , ready to explode!
