How do you organize your coupons besides using a binder or a coupon holder? I have restaurant, stores, grocery coupons and I would like to carry them on me since you never know when you need it and I hate saying "I have a coupon at home!" Right now I have some in legal size envelopes and a manila folder in my purse:confused3

I carry store & restuarant coupons in the inside pocket of my purse. Grocery coupons go in a basic, purse-sized organizer.

I used to have a basic accordion style folder I got at Office Max but it got to be too cluttered for me... I have a 1" binder now with seven dividers: "Dairy/Meat/Produce", "Grocery", "Frozen/Refrigerated", "HBA", "Household", "Donate/Place" (these are for baby & pet coupons... don't have either of those, so I usually try to give them to people at work or place them on top of the product in the store), and "Store-Specific", which is just Catalinas and stuff like that for specific stores. I put baseball card holders in each section and I labeled each individual holder... "Condiments"... "Toothpaste"... "Meat Alternatives"... etc. It works REALLY well for me, and since it has a little flap in the front of the binder, I can pull out coupons and put them there as I shop, or store coupons I find as I shop (peelies etc.) :)

Restaurant-type coupons go in a pocket on my wallet that can get thrown in whatever bag I'm carrying that day. I just looked and right now I'm carrying two subway coupons and some mcD's coupons, one for ChuckECheese, and one for Friendly's.

Grocery coupons go in in a little wallet-sized accordion coupon sorter from some dollar store, works great...

I also have an "Entertainment Book" that I just leave in the car. I've used all the most "ooh I want that!" coupons already, and have let co-workers pick and pull from it, but if DH says "hey let's go do XYZ..." I check the book quickly. I *HATE* doing/buying something and then finding a coupon the next day...

I use a clearish accordian style coupon holder that I bought at the $1 store. It replaced the smaller paper one that was falling apart.

Best $1 I have spent.

I keep mine in a little photo album so I can flip through it easily and I keep it in my purse at all times. You never know when you need to stop at the store to pick up something.
