Ordering water to drink in a restaurant...is it tap water?

DH and I almost always order water to drink when eating out, but the tap water around here tastes just fine.

I'm assuming Disney restaurants give you ice water from the tap? Or does it seem like it is filtered (therefore reducing the bad taste)?

I plan on bringing Crystal Lite/Powerade, etc. packets to flavor water with...we could do that if we don't like it.

Any other suggestions? We might end up ordering a different drink, but we like water and it makes sense to drink more water while walking all day in Florida rather than less!

We drink water everytime we eat out, especially at WDW because it's important to keep hydrated. I've tried the tap water in our room at the various resorts and it's awful. So, I'm guessing the restaurants all have filtered water because it tastes fine.

I always ask for bottled water and they have not charged me for it once.

Not too sure about all counter service places. At least at the main st bakery when I asked for water, she got ice from the machine and filled the water up via the sink.
