I know I read something in the past week about ordering groceries so they will be there waiting when you get to your resort.

I don't think it was through Disney, but now I can't find the info.

Has anyone done this or know where I can find this info?

Thanks.

Don't know how to send you the thread. I did a search on grocery deliveries and came up with the following service: www.wegoshop.com . The original poster was very satisfied with the service.

I had searched but just on grocery and didn't come up with anything helpful. This isn't what I had seen in the last few days, but I'm going to check into this.

Thanks

No matter what time, day or night, I am unable to access that website (wegoshop) Is anyone else having a problem with access?

We used netgrocer.com for our trip last summer and they worked out just fine.

OK, here's a real, live testimonial.

Last week at BWV, we used www.wegoshop.com. Two days before we arrived, I e-mailed them a very specific list of what we wanted - the items, brand, quantity, etc., along with when we'd arrive at BW. They replied via e-mail, and gave us an estimated time of delivery. You do have to be there to receive delivery, and you pay then.

Well, they were there right on time. Our order was filled perfectly. They shopped at the nearby Winn-Dixie, although when you place your order you can specify what grocery store you prefer.

Their delivery charge varies, based on the amount of your order. Up to $100, it was $10. And, we tipped.

If you go to the wegoshop website and follow the links to Florida, and then Disney resorts, you'll find all the information you need.

The couple that run this business are named Eric and Rebecca, and I couldn't have been more pleased. Yes, there was a fee for this service, but it was worth it to us to not have to call for our car and invest an hour or more shopping. This way, the kids got some pool time and it was just that much less of a hassle.

I'm a fan (and I'm not a compensated endorser!)

Lisa, I see we posted about the same time. I got on without any trouble, too. I think that 50% deal is just for people who actually live in the area.

Disney will deliver groceries so that they're waiting for you on arrival, which is a plus. But you're restricted to what they normally stock, and the prices are pretty doggone high, especially for soft drinks and bottled water.

Hwy 417 an S. Orange Blosom Trail, and the had it "picked and packed" when we arrived...

Excellent, and no "extra" fees:):)

:sunny:

Ah, yes, Dreamfinder2, the 50% off was for local residents. That small print was awfully small this morning.

The Albertsons (sp?) stop sound like a good option as well. I have the information for them both filed for my next trip.

We definately won't be going to Goodings next time! My husband did the grocery run and even he wouldn't show me the receipt!!!

I noticed on the wegoshop website's aplication that a room number is required- how did you get that info?

I just emailed wegoshop all the other information they required, and they responded, saying that I could just call them directly when I got to BW with the room number. Went without a hitch.

As pleased as I was with the wegoshop folks, the Albertson's run sounds like a good idea, too.

Bookmarked the "wegoshop" and "netgrocer" sites on the laptop. Thanks for the info...
