Ordering from Childrens Menu

Can an adult order from the Childrens menu? I was just wondering because I wanted to make Ps's for Scifi for dinner, but noticed that they do not have hamburgers for dinner on the menu on all ears net. DF is most likely going to get a steak, but I really just wanted to have a hamburger and fries. Ds 2 1/2 will eat from the childrens menu.

I have ordered from the kid's menu at various counter service restaurants, but never at a table service place. I'm interested to know if you can, too.

Generally speaking, sit-downs will let you order anything you want. You just need to ask your server if it's okay (and be prepared to order something else, just in case). Lots of people here have reported that they've ordered off the kids' menu with no problems. You might consider giving an extra large tip (assuming good service, of course) to make up for the unusually low cost of your meal.

My teenage son has ordered off the kid's menu at many of the sit-down restaurants - he doesn't usually like the "fancy food!" There has never been any problem!!

My MIL ordered off the children's menu at Artist Point and it wasn't an issue. The portions are smaller and nothing is seasoned. Of course if you are just getting a burger and fries, that seasoning shouldn't be an issue. The burger might be "junior" size though, so I would ask about the portion size before I order.

I've never had a problem ordering from the kid's menu at walk up or sit down places at wdw (wish that were the case out side of disney!)

I doubt you will have a problem, and I think they are understanding because a) they are disney and b) they know most folks don't have a fridge in their room for leftovers, and it would be a pain to haul them around the park Another option might be to split the main course and get second side dish or dessert!

I love the uncrustables from the kids menu, love 'em so much I buy them at home!

This is such a great resource for planning and for last minute questions.

Now I have many options to think about Df is an old car nut so I think he will enjoy sitting in the car for dinner. I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about this place, but I figured we would try it once.
