Another thing to cross off my list.
:cool1:

I am still somewhat scared and confused by it all though, and reading some of the posts I don't think I'm the only one.

So once it arrives do I do anything in the UK before we leave for our holiday or is the next step activating it at one of the parks?

We are heading to Disney Studios on our first full day so I will do that as soon as I get there.

Do I need to put the photopass number onto my online account before we leave or shall I do this when we get home?

:confused3

Hihihi! I got mine yesterday in the post, along with my travel documents.

Basically, all you need to do is take that voucher to WDW. Then, go to either downtown disney or one of the parks and exchange it, and you'll get your card. As far as I am aware, as soon as you activate that card you've got 30 days before the pictures go. I'll be activating it on day 1, because unless I'm wrong, it'll update the account each time a photo is taken, and my family back home will be able to log in and see the pictures too :)

However, on our last trip, SIL has photopass plus and she didnt activate it until she got back to England.

You will receive this pack in the post (the voucher will be taped to the case but I removed it to photograph):

That the voucher to WDW with you can exchange it for your card.

Leave the CD case at home and make sure you do not lose the leaflet inside as it contains the code to redeem for your CD after.

You do not need to do anything else :thumbsup2

Also, don't forget where you put the case for when you come back because your code and instructions for redeeming the credit to your account when you order is in the box

Not sure I will be able to collect my voucher before our early morning character breakfast at Chef Mickey's, if i have photos taken on a regular photopass card, can I add these to my photopass plus online?

Yes you can! We has many regular photo pass cards Added to our plus account online. Since we are not always together everyone carries a card and gets what ever pictures they want taken. Just add all those card numbers to your account and all is well. Take pictures of the cards in case they get lost.

The issue with Chef Mickeys is you can't get the photos added to a regular card as the photo is only the one you get taken with the posed Mickey Statue. You get the print package with the PP+ as well as the digital copy.

Usually they can only do this with the red + card.

Can you get to DTD on arrival night to swap it? Or take the voucher to Chef Mickeys and hope they can help you?

Chef mickeys can help you,
We forgot all about goo g to a park to activate the voucher, when the person who brings the photo round came up to us, we said we would love the pic but was gutted we would have to pay for it when we had the pp+ she said no problem took the voucher came back in 10 minutes and had activated it for us :)
Hope this helps

oooh, That's good to hear you can add normal photopass cards onto Photopass +.
I've been trying to decide what to do as there are a few of us going in November but we are the only ones on the dining plan and most others are staying off site so ordering the plus for the group wouldn't be cost effective.

However if we split the cost of the standard photopass and I pay the additional for the plus then I think that may actually work?
