Order graduation invitation online?

I had a welcome party for my wedding the night before for everyone (we had a destination wedding) and used Vistaprint.com for those invites. They always have sales, codes, or deals. I paid under $6 with shipping for 20 invites. Search vista print coupon codes and you'll find a deal. also sign up for their emails and they'll mail you any specials.

As long as you dont mind not having the school seal or anything like that on it, there are several online sources you can find by googling. Normally a school picks one company and designs official invitations with the school seal etc, which is normally a major no-no for an outside printer. Schools and other government agencies protect their official seals and will sue printers for using them, as they don't want students printing up fake school letterhead etc. or crooks using it for personal gain. When you buy the official ones, the school gets revenue to fund the graduation ceremony and the printer is required to used the acid free papers etc, that make them last nearly forever.

Congrats, I have a couple grads this year myself, including my last high school grad... :dance3:

I found some really cute formats on etsy. And - finally one that DD and I both like. On etsy - most will sned you the jpeg file, and then you can get printed whereever you like. We'll probably be going with a 5x7 size, that we can print at Costco for $0.39 each. The cost for someone "doing the work" on etsy is between $8 and $15. (The one DD likes is $15, and has 5 pics on it.)

Just tossing this out there as an option!

I used vistaprint for DD invites. Needed a lot so I purchased business post cards. Found a designed she liked and just set it up with the party info. Saved money on postage as stamps for post cards is less that envelopes.

I bought two pens as a filler and received free ship.

Good Luck and Congratulations to your Graduate!!!!

I own a stationary shop and also offer digital invitations. I am more than happy to create them for you with the school colors/seal, etc. pm if you like.

I ordered ours from the company the school recommended. We just received them a couple of weeks ago. Not only were they expensive but I think they are ugly and the printing on them looks cheap. I don't remember if they offered a "deluxe" option but these look bad. The printing is really small and and the invitation feels flimsy. I wish we would have designed our own.

I did my son's at Kodak Gallery. I liked their designs best, and they were running a special.

Our school invitations are ugly, ugly, ugly. The cheap price does not make them worthwhile.

My daughter wanted something nicer, so we ordered from Pear Tree Invitations online (if that's not the exact name, you could still find it). I was very pleased with their choice of designs, and the items arrived in less than a week. She has several pictures on the invitations, and the quality was excellent. They weren't cheap, but I thought the price was fair -- including shipping, they were less than $2 each.

We were also pleased that this allowed us to create our own wording. With one item she invited people to her luncheon, the graduation ceremony and told where she's going to school next fall.

Before you order anything, you should find out whether your school does invitations or announcements. Some schools -- those with limited space -- are able to give their students a limited number of tickets, and in those situations you might actually need the official school items. This wasn't an issue for us; our graduation's held in a large, indoor facility and anyone can just walk in.

I ordered my daughter's graduation ANNOUNCEMENTS from the school source. These are the ones with the drawing of the school, the school seal, the graduates name card, etc.

I ordered my daughter's graduation party INVITATION from Vistaprint. I got the color postcard like a previous poster.

This is what I plan to do - thanks. I need HELP however. On the Vistaprint web site I got as far as the design, but can you choose different sizes or do I need to start in the postcard section? I started with the grad party category.
Thanks!!

Another one with ugly graduation announcements this year. The things are GRAY and green. Yuck yuck yuck. Awful.

As for the after ceremony celebration, I purchased a card from Tiny Prints. We usually do our Christmas cards with them and I have always been very satisfied with their work.
