Orbucks question

I'm changing a reservation I made on Orbitz to a different date. Does anyone know how long it takes for the Orbucks to show up in your account once you cancel a reservation? If I called to make the changes, could the Orbucks be used on the new reservation?

Update: I cancelled an Orbitz reservation online and the Orbucks showed up in my account in a matter of minutes. I was able to apply them to my new reservation.
