Orbitz: tell me why i shouldn't

Wanted to say "thanks" for all of the help. I booked with the discount, called Orbitz and everything seems set in MDE. Now I just need to buy tickets so I can book FPs 60 days out. Saved $250!!!

Maybe more than 1 offer, but fine print says 48HRSALE is only for Caribbean hotels?

I'm guessing Disney has blocked anything more than 15% off from Orbitz. They did allow the first 20% off code when the winter sale went live, but it only worked through mid-October. After that date, it seems only 15% will work. REVIEW15 still works for 15%.

It's possible, but it may be too soon to reach that conclusion across the board. It could be a seasonal decision.

I'm looking for value resorts, so this won't save me much right?

It does seem to depend on your family size and makeup, with those who stay in mods/delux seeming to be preferring the room-only discount. But I found the discounts on the values generally speaking, to be not as good as other discounts available.

One really nice thing on Orbitz room discount though is you can get AoA (and probably other) rooms at discount when Disney excludes them from promos. So we did a combo of deals: 2 Orbitz nights at AoA and the Stay Play Dine discount at CBR for 6 nights. That way we were still able to experience that resort but get the package benefits from Disney.

At the Values, a dining promotion could be better than a room discount + promo code. If you have 2 adults and 2 children, everyone gets the dining discount while the room rate stays fixed (same rate as 1 adult).

But, the dining plan you get at the Values is quick service. You have to pay extra to upgrade to the regular plan. You also have to book a package (stricter cancelation policy).

Orbitz HELP!! I booked for 2 adults but I can't find a number to call Orbitz to have my daughter added. Also, it didn't ask for the name of the 2nd adult. Doesn't Disney need names of everyone in the room?

We used Orbitz for our May 2014 trip and it was fabulous. We saved a very large amount and everything went wonderfully. No reason to not book with them!
