Orange Dole Whip

Hi,
I heard that Magic Kingdom was going to add an Orange Dole whip to the aloha Isle stand that sells the pinapple dole whips. Has anyone tried these yet?

Sunshine Tree Terrace (adjacent to the Tiki Birds/near the Aladdin's Carpets in Adventureland) has long served an orange swirl - it's frozen oj swirled with vanilla ice cream - that is one of my favorite things. I like Dole Whip too, but sometimes I'd rather have orange than pineapple...

It's true...I had one last week I tried an Orange whip pineapple float....going for the pineapple orange combo flavor. I preferred the original pure pineapple float though. I did not ask if they had orange juice to have a pure orange float though.

Sunshine Tree Terrace with the Orange and ice cream is my favorite. Tastes like a creamcicle. Not a fan of Dole Whips (Put down those stones) but love this. You could make a lot of money if you showed up at my house right now with one of them.

Sounds awesome. I had the pineapple float last time, and preferred it to the straight up dole whip. Anyone have a pic of or a link to the orange one? I love orange creamsicles.

I agree...there is something about having that juice at the bottom that really impoves it for me Unfortunately I did NOT take a picture of the Orange whip on pineapple juice float. That best way I could describe the Orange whip would be just substitute the pineapple flavor with orange......I think it was a little less "sweet" tasting than the Pineapple whip....which makes sense when you think about it.

Yes, it is a snack. For an adult treat pour some rum into the dole whip. It's what captain Jack would do. Yummy!

Thanks everybody for all the responses. I can't wait to try one. 31 days and we will be at the Wilderness lodge and our first stop is Magic kingdom for the dole whips.

Oh it absolutely is! The float is ALSO a snack It's one of the better snack credit values in my opinion. Then you also have the Chocolate shake in AK...that's a snack as well....ahh the list of Snack credit options is nearly endless and JUST as tasty

DH got one in December and was really upset that they'd change the recipe of the swirl and now use frozen OJ instead of the creamsicle type stuff from before. He's now vowed to never get another one till they change it back. It was his favorite treat.

I haven't heard anything about an orange whip, but I would try it. The pinapple float thing is my favorite!! I run to adventure land everytime I go to MK!!

My DS wanted the orange flavor when we were there in January. It was HORRIBLE! It had a weird aftertaste, kind of like a sweeter version of an orange-flavored chewable Dramamine tablet. Definitely no orange juice involved with this flavor. It has a bright orange color.

Of course this is only my opinion and others may love it. But I'll stick with pineapple each and every time!

I might actually like dole whips if you could get rum in them.

I like the frozen OJ (without any ice cream, just frozen OJ) from the Sunshine Tree Terrace much better than I like dole whips.

Just to clarify, since other people are posting about the Sunshine Tree Terrace as well. The Orangle Dole Whip at the Aloha Isle is not the same as the frozen orange juice from the STT. At Aloha Isle, it's more of an artificially-made orange flavor soft serve. Just wanted to make sure people knew that.
