We are headed to BLT next week for 10 days. It is eating up our points for a long time. DH is taking me back in Feb to celebrate my 40th. We are going to see if there is any kind of bounceback, but if not can you get any kind of DVC discount when booking a regular room? We have AP's also, but they will expire before Feb and we aren't renewing them so I guess an AP discount would be out. We were thinking of staying at either GF or a 1 bedroom at BC.

we were in BLT the first week in Aug and there was some postcard on the table about a discount if you book your next trip before you leave. However I do not know the details as our next trip was already booked on points so I did not pay attention! Sorry.

The bounceback offer that was in both of our rooms last month (BLT and BCV) was only valid through 12/24/10. That may change by the time you get here, though. Check on the TV stand for the offer; it is shaped like a clock and says "Book now before it's too late!" or something like that.

Even if you don't see the bounce back offer in the room, call the reservation line from your phone and ask about it. Someone may have swiped it from a previous stay and it might not have gotten replaced.

New discounts are rumored to be coming out tomorrow for cash guests for that time frame.

You can get 25% discount on DVC stays when booking through MS if there is availability as that is always an option.

And, as others mention, there is usually a bounceback offer for guests to book before they leave.
