Can you tell me something about what we can do, and the prices? I was wondering if we could take a train as we don't have any here. I was also thinking of a van or car through FL Tours. What can you tell me? thanks Mum

How about renting a car, one-way? Most car rental companies do not charge a fee within Florida for one-way rentals.

Other than that, you could fly on Southwest from Orlando to FLL. Go to www.southwest.com.

AMTRAK has a daily train to south Florida however it goes via Tampa so it's a long journey.

Greyhound has service as well.

Depending on how far in advance you buy and whether there's a sale or not, Southwest has fares as low as $29+tax one way but its more typically around $59+tax one way.

I was thinking train because DH has always wanted to ride one somewhere and look at the scenery. I will look into flying because DH hates traffic (and renting a car would mean he would drive) as we live in a very small town of 5000. He just whines to much I don't want to listen to it. We will be hanging out with our friends before and after the cruise but I don't want them to have to drive us there then have to drive back, both times at 3 1/2 hours one way. (I heard.)
