Woohoo... the Tech managers are in an all-day meeting today in another building, so it should be quiet enough that I actually get some work done.

Woohoo... we're having multiple days of honest to gosh rain, not just misty drizzle, and it feels really good.

Woohoo I am finally on the upward swing. Once the stents came out, most of my pain was gone. I still can't do much. No lifting over 10 pounds, no bending or squatting and stuff like that. I do still have a lot of back pain so working through that. Today was the first day that I walked around the block. Up until now it was just up and down the street. Mainly just a few houses. So I am getting there.

I am thankful for my new-ish, well-maintained car ... which is right now with DS, rescuing a friend who has been stranded because his old clunker broke down --- again. 😕

Thankful for being able to conveniently getting flu shots for the kids and I. DD at her annual appointment yesterday, the DSs at CVS last night and myself at work today.
Thankful for the doctors DD has seen this week. She ended up with a sick visit Saturday (non-specific viral infection confirmed) in addition to her annual yesterday. Her previous pediatrician left the practice and she didn’t jive with the doctor she saw last year but the two providers she saw this week were awesome, definitely comfortable working with neuro-divergent kiddos so a huge win there

I am thankful to be on the mend. Yesterday, I took a walk around the block at lunch, took a shower and went to the grocery store and did really well. So I am starting to add in more walking. I only went around the block at lunch again but I think I could have done two. Other then some slight incision pain and I feeling almost 100%. I will go for another walk after work.

This week I have not set an alarm for work and opted to let my body sleep and wake up on its own. Next week I will start setting an alarm. DH and I are going to go for a short walk before starting work at my normal time.
