Our 2nd Disney family trip is only 4 days long (like our 1st trip.)
Day 1 -arrive at Epcot in morning by car, leave to check in at resort POR-Riverside and clean up, go to MK for a few rides, 8 pm parade and 9 pm Wishes. Fastpasses for 7DMT 6:20-7:20, then Buzz, then Wishes fastpass 8:40-8:55 for 9 pm fireworks. (We could skip the first two rides because we'll have 7DMT again for day 3.) I was able to snag a 4:20 pm CRT dinner reservation someone dropped, but I'm hoping to switch to a later time because that would probably mean we would have to cut our Epcot day really short.
Day 2- DHS all day. Lunch Pizza Planet. Dinner - undetermined.
Day 3 - MK - leave by 7 when it closes for party. Lunch at Be Our Guest. Maybe do a resort night with swimming, dinner at Boatwrights and see Yee Haw Bob?
Day 4 - Animal Kingdom and La Nouba.
If you had four days and had never taken your 8 year old daughter to CRT before, would you eat there the first night? I had planned to have dinner at the Grand Floridian Cafe and then take the monorail to the MK to be there for the evening activities. (My husband loves the GF cafe, but I would like to experience CRT once if it's not too awful.) I'm worried that if we can't switch to a later time than 4:20 at CRT, we would probably need to leave Epcot no later than 2 (or maybe earlier?) to check in at the resort, clean up a little, travel to the MK, and make it to the restaurant. Would you chose CRT or GFC or something else?
Also, what dinner time at CRT would be ideal to allow us to leave and catch the electrical parade and then Wishes from the fastpass spot?
