Opinions wanted: Velbon Ultra Luxi or Maxi??

I already have a Carbon Fiber Tripod and w/ head attached it's closer to 5 pounds. So, I really want something lightweight just for travel that I can throw in my backpack. I know some of you mentioned using the Velbon Ultra tripods. I have found 2 of those I'm interested in. If you've used either of these, can you please weigh in with an opinion? I'm getting the Pan head because I intend to use with a camcorder, but each of these have a similar tripod that uses a Ball head, so if you've used either, can you please post your opinions?

Luxi is slightly larger/heavier than Maxi, but has more consistent reviews on Amazon.

Ive been looking at this exact tripod (Ultra Luxi F) for my Oly E330 and can't wait to see if anyone has an opinion on it as well.
