I do understand the attitude of just stay somewhere else but I really do LOVE the idea of literally being right on the monorail with a tower room where at GF you're not guaranteed the main building and at Poly it's not possible also everyone saying how huge the rooms are compared to the other resorts so when I started looking into what the room decor is since I've never seen them I was shocked at how hideous they were (IMO) but then saw the neutral rooms and got confused. I agree that the view and location and having the monorail practically outside the door is probably well worth it and more than makes up for what I consider to be ugly decor. I hope to make up my mind soon.
FYI, the only rooms in the GF Main Building are concierge rooms and suites, starting at $555 per night plus tax in value season. They can go well over $2000 per night before taxes.
