Opening of Mission Space???

Besides being a "Disney Nut" DH is a "Space Nut" (Our new daughter's name is going to be Kennedy.) DH and DD chose this We will be in Disney in Dec. and I was wondering if the new Mission Space will definitley be open by then? I have heard quite a few dates.......Aug, Oct. Is there an official date given out by Disney??? Anyone know what it is?? Thanks in advance.

Official previews begin on August 15, with the official opening (which is mainly a show for the press) is set for October 9. So unless something very strange happens, you'll get to ride it in December.
