I just now checked to see what was going on, and it initially showed NO ocean view or veranda availability for the 10 night. Then I went out of that screen and went back and there was GTY availability for verandah. But the website it wonky, at least for me, because I tried to select one of the GTY rooms in both the verandah AND the OV category and when I would go to put it in my "cart" it would give me a message saying "stateroom no longer available". When can you book?

Same thing happened to me but when I got an agent on the line they were able to grab one of the staterooms that had said unavailable online (I had tried about 4 or 6 while waiting too).

So does this mean you can book online before phone lines open? If you have an OBB to apply and have to call can that be made to online booking?

It was the case this morning. I had booked two cruises by 6AM. The phone lines open at 8. You can’t convert a placeholder online. You need to call.

Glad you got booked! I had the same thing happen yesterday, even though first thing yesterday morning there was lots of inventory of course, I didn't see rooms I really want online, but the DCL agent had lots of availability that was not available to me online.

Glad you got booked! I had the same thing happen yesterday, even though first thing yesterday morning there was lots of inventory of course, I didn't see rooms I really want online, but the DCL agent had lots of availability that was not available to me online.

It may be just guaranteed status, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! If they do not have what you want, I would STALK the DCL site and call, call once the days for released holds start. There are bound to be a good number of staterooms on hold that will be released.

Just out of curiosity, can you see if the 9 night (04/29) shows verandahs available? I think I saw on a previous post that there were 4A rooms showing. I was hoping for a 5A, but can't be picky at this point. If there are, do you mind checking the cost for 2 adults/ 2 kids (13,13)?

Currently for 4/29 11A is the cheapest cat for $6790.16 on deck 6.
5/8 the ONLY options showing is inside 10A GTY for $7397.08 and 10B GTY for $7457.08. No oceanview, verandahs or concierge at all right now!

Edit: whoops, beaten to the punch! But I DID see 11A for 4/29...? Hmm...

And just to note, if someone in the party is truly motion sick, a GTY is not the way to go because Disney could put you literally anywhere on the ship the GTY category or higher and you're stuck with what they give you.
