It's almost 60 degrees here in NYC! Can't believe how warm it is for March.

i just turned the heat UP!! it is 40 here today, with a strong wind. plus i am always cold!!
but it is sunny so i opened up the door to the sunroom!! tomorrow the rain is back for a few days, so the lawns will become even muddier(is that a word?!!?) yep maine's 5th season is here MUD SEASON!! the dooryard will be wicked muddy by the middle of the week, gotta love it!

Not only do I have all the windows wide open, I also have laundry drying on the line.

My DH is going to be so mad...I pulled off the plastic in our bedroom, so I could open up the windows. I can't stand the stale air.

The "heart" of winter is over, and I don't think we need plastic on the windows anymore. I need to be able to just open the windows on a whim now that Spring is almost here.

So, can't wait for Dh to come in from burning.

Today's forecast-sunny and 71 with scattered storms

Reality-the scattered storms have been over top of us all day with flood warnings-high so far of 53!!

Oh well-let's try tomorrow.

We had 5 different meats thawing for the first cookout of the season today-we did it in the rain anyway.

Turned off the heat yesterday. The windows have been open ever since. Wanna guess where the kitties have been sleeping?

Current temp in St Louis= 80!!!! All the windows are open and the girls are wearing capris! But back to the 40's by Tuesday oh well The crocus and mini dafodills we have are blooming too!

It is in the 50's here today and in the 60's tomorrow and then
look out. But my windows are open today and enjoying the nice air with

I turned the heat up. It's hit the high of 31 degrees for today and has been snowing on and off most of the day.

We have the AC on. This has been a hot winter here. Probably almost an average of 2 weeks each in Jan. Feb. and March that we had to run the AC. It is HOT outside this weekend.

Then there's today...Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Back in the 40s and supposed to be in the upper 50s. Hope we see that! Yesterday it was still warm. Got cold overnight. Broke down and turned the heat on this morning after about 4 days without it! ...for no heat, ...for heat. LOL! Most of the trees got their flowers the past few days. Now the poor things will be cold.

Sunday it hit 82 degrees!! We were on the beach that day cleaning things up with a bunch of people. GREAT day for it! Let's hope "confused" March moves out quickly. Although April seems to be chillier the last few years compared to what I remember.

graprwd...Yes, it is!! I'm not used to the change in seasons...again...yet...after 15 years in FL. Sunday felt like winter in FL between the warm temp and the breeze off the bay!

icebrat001...That just sounds wrong! CA having snow and ice is like thinking of South FL having the same. LOL!

liamsaunt...Smells like dirt? I know what you mean though.

Kimberly815...I've wondered the same at work on the 5th floor. I want to open that window!!
