Open Port Orleans Already!-Opening OCT 14th & 28th!!!!

This is great news!
I tried to book one night, a Sunday in January but was unable.
I'll keep my eyes open for something to open up.

So happy for you all! We're already booked for later this month but would have most likely been in POR if it had been available. (It's not all that bad though, we get to try our first long stay in Deluxe resorts, Boardwalk Villas and the Polynesian).

Looking forward to enjoying POR in the future though.

We will be moving our March from CBR. Which do y’all recommend? I have a six year old daughter
Less walking and easier to get around = French Quarter
I personally prefer Riverside and the mansion style buildings, however I don’t go with kids so the expansiveness of the resort isn’t an issue for me. Either one you stay at, they are connected so you can easily enjoy the ambiance of both. Look at the room decor and pools and see which one looks better to you. Sometimes there is a price difference as well so take that into consideration.

Do we have an official confirmation that this true. I've seen it on "news" sites but not from any official Disney sources yet?
