Marita, I had the broccoli cheddar soup with whole grain French bread. It was great. I love their food. I received a gift card as a stocking stuffer.

I picked up a bottle of their Greek salad dressing, too. The calories are kind of high, but at least it has olive oil in it. I have had all the fixings for a Greek salad for a week now, but needed some dressing.

It is now 3 degrees here. -13 wind chill. High of 2 degrees is forecast for tomorrow. 80 degrees sounds great to me!

I know it's probably colder up there in Maine - crank up the heat!

I love broccoli cheddar soup, I had some a couple of weeks ago at Uno's Pizza. Very filling, I ended up taking my entree home for dinner.

I am watching Designer's challenge on HGTV. These people just built this huge house on a lake, and budgeted $25000 to decorate their foyer and add a TV Armoire.
There is something wrong with that.

Inspired by mommypoppins madd skillz, I have managed to weasel a DisneyLand trip in for 20 days from now!!!!!! YAY!!!!

It'll be Riley's 7th birthday and my sister in California just had a baby at Christmas time and she INSISTS we stay in her brand new house in Riverside! No problem there!!!! So, I want to make 3 ADR's for DisneyLand and California Adventure. Do people do that? I've never ADR'd California but I really want to take my family to that Blue Bayou inside POC. Do they have LTT there? I gotta do some homework!

Oh, and we're driving! Send me all your post-surgery leftover pain meds ASAP so I will be pleasant for the drive. OR, we'll drag out the DVD players and Duct Tape. That is a boring drive through Nevada (no offense Bonnie!) Just endless miles of Yucca and sagebrush .

No, they don't have LTT, but Blue Bayou is my all time favoarite Disney restaurant ever!! So cool to dine inside the Pirates ride!! And don't worry, I'm not offended....it is such a boring drive through NV. NV is a craphole, and I"ll be the first to say it. That's why we moved!!

Yep, I grew up in NV....in a small town 60 miles north of Las Vegas. Then I moved to Las Vegas after high school and lived there ever since (about 15 years). But then this past summer, we moved to Northern Virginia.

I love it. I have wanted to live here since I was 16 and spent a summer here with my aunt. Compared to Nevada it is a lush, green paradise!!

All my chores are done! For the next 5 minutes, I am completely done with laundry! HA!

I'm burning the most AWESOME smelling candle called "Sugar" (not sugar cookie). It is HEAVEN in my house right now. I wish there was smelloputer so I could share with you guys!

I need to book the Blue Bayou, but cant find the reservations phone number? Anyone know?
I havent been to the Blue Bayou since Grad Night '85. I remember I loved it, so I'm looking forward to the candle lit dinner with my maniac family! Also want to book the Plaza Inn Character B-fast for Riley's birthday.

Long story short: I had a wonderful time. As Princess Twink said "OH.... this *is* a dream come true"


and.....

in exciting news: I met NAB and Mr. Nab!!!! What an adorable family!!!!!! Could only chat a minute cause I had to get through security with 3 preschoolers, 4 backpacks, walmart bag full of leftover quick service meals (can't be wasteful now can I?), a stroller and some contraband milk!

Anyway- NAB gave me a darling Princess themed goodie bag complete with genuine Disney Cruise Pixie Dust and the most adorable little Pluto!

I'm mainly trying to stay warm today, Bonnie. Work has been pretty busy, so I have been using that as my excuse lately to do NO housework (except dishes and laundry).

My daughter will be home a month from now for a long weekend, so I'm looking forward to that. I've been trying to talk my cousin into having me down to her condo in Florida for a long weekend this winter, but I haven't heard back from her on that yet - darn it!
