I got two cookies from the lady who works at the HOME who has a girl scout troop and then I will get four more from my daughter in laws little niece.......I am thinking now (already ordered one short bread and one thin mints) now I will get two more do si does and two more mints I guess.......I love those do si do's..
hubby doesnt snore much in bed but flat on the floor he tends to rumble....and even the dang dog snores.....geesh...

I am sitting here remembering the songs of the past and I really think that those were the best......is that truly a sigh of old age? I wonder...

I love Meatloaf then and Meatloaf now.......the songs are ageless..Paradise by the Dashboard light......I was caring for my best friends two girls.....and my two kids were all around the same age....We had the first karoake....I swear.....microphones and reel to reel tape recorder.......ONE BIG ONE with big stereo speakers.....(hubby brought those back from Europe when he was in the navy--first one out by sony) so anyways.......I have the mics going and the four kids are singing this song.......never would of ever ever imagined what the words were......then about ten or so years ago I saw the words and to think I let four young kids sing this while I cooked supper......My friend and I laugh about it now .....some caregiver I was.......hahahha

today I am waiting for the egg lady.....she brings me fresh eggs right out of the hen........last summer she lost over two dozen of her hens to some bad coyotes....so I had to buy them at the store......and the people that buy her eggs could tell the difference......yuck to store eggies......we like our free range chickens.....just a little chicken doo on the eggs and I wash them before I use them.......she will be here in a few......

But thanks! I'm trying to cut way back on soda-pop (dP) and just drink water becasue my weight loss is really slow lately. I'm just seeing if it's the soda (sodium? who the heck knows?) I have no idea WHY diet soda would slow things down but It's a theory I have to rule out. I want to lose more weight.

Wheat Thins are an evil addictive carbohydrate and I steer clear of them. After the first forty fistfuls.

When I was dieting before our last trip I was on a binge of eating eggplant. It has few calories, a mild and agreeable flavor, and can be doused with a number of toppings. Sadly, after a couple months of eating the stuff I started to develop a purple rind. I switched to cooked cabbage, which also has very few calories and a mild flavor, and can be doused with assorted toppings. No ill effects resulted except a strange desire to sing Irish folk songs at odd moments. All of this fell by the wayside once I got to WDW and hit the Tonga Toast and the Food & Wine festival etc. I haven't touched the scales in two months and am now afraid to look

KAY!!! You are a HOOT! (Not hooter). Get on the scale before things get out of hand! Unfortunately my toppings upon harmless vegetables are fat-laden choices such as cheese or ranch. Or both. Probably not good choices.
