It's still cold here in Nashville (cold for us - around 30) but no snow.
I be sad over that.
Lots of prayers and for the little twinkie surgery and for the job hunt.

I get to hire an assistant! I'm so excited! Now I'll have more time to DIS! Ha.
Just kidding. A little.

So would twinkie daddy want to relocate to Nashville and be my assistant?
My mom could help babysit the little twinkies. She loves kids. She was a teacher and then owned her own daycare for a long time.

I got Nicholas's suit pants hemmed and new running shoes. That is all I had to do for him before next week. I still can't believe they haven't asked why they need these things. Considering he is wearing boots in this weather.

Hannah got Valentines. And no not for the trip. They are vintage ones. We got them at Chapters. They are in a book that you punch out. They are cool. I was there looking for Licoln Child. They didn't have that book Pumba only Utopia ? by him alone.

I'm giving my craft cabinet to my mother this weekend. I hate it, but I don't have room for it. And this way Tammy and I will spend more time with her - we've decided to start spending one Saturday a month at her house for stamping, scrapbooking, etc.

We only got one ice/snow day and that was Monday. Back to normal here. Just very cold.

Celery --the answer is yes. The trip is a secret and they still don't know. Neither do there teachers yet I can't believe they are not asking more questions. I think they are not because I signed them up for swimming and Nicholas is doing a baseball pitching course that starts next week for 6 weeks.

And the book by Licoln Child is one Pumba recommended to me.

Now I know why I don't wear makeup much. I bought new stuff today because well I won't tell you how old my stuff was. It is expensive.

Yes we are still iced over here. The main roads are clear but the side roads are still covered with it. They are expecting "something" else to hit this weekend! Our church parking lot looks like a skating rink and temeperatures aren't expected to get above freezing for a day or two yet. I can't wait until school gets back in!

This going back and forth to the Dr. for my kids is beginning to get old real fast.

Zach just finished his meds for his ear infection Monday Morning and last night, "Mom my ear hurts" being said while I was trying to sleep.

He's going in a little bit. DH is taking him. I love all these copays and script pays.

Is there a song about money growing on trees cause that would be my request. Here's my quarter. I just want a pillow to take a nap.

Make it stop. The Twinkies Cookbook (Ten Speed Press, $12.95) includes a chapter called "Twinkies and Meat." Thankfully it's short -- only three recipes.

I don't think I could stomach more than Chicken-Raspberry Twinkie Salad, Twinkling Turkey and, gulp, Pigs in a Twinkie.

Moo, I think they must have seen the pic you posted of twinkies with meat and gotten inspiration.

My kids went back Tuesday, and I did Happy Dance!!! Well, I waited till they were down the drive way and done waving bye-bye mama! Then I high-fived my DH.

So whats for dinner at the Berg/Bert's? We had Swedish Meatballs on egg noodles with some crusty bread and a salad. I'm full!

UM-they have been out all week because of the ice storm. The main roads are clear but the neighborhood roads and bus routes are still terrible. The temperature hasn't gotten above 29 or so and it's not melting. I haev a feeling they will be out Friday too. There's another storm supposed to come in this weekend. This one is just supposed to be snow but that on top of ice isn't any fun.

Oh! I am on a two week detox plan and we had hamburger patties with fried onions, salad, and cheese sticks. Lacto actually had a cheeseburger and no salad but there you go. No pasta or bread so yours sounded really yummy!

Marita- You are welcome to them. I am going to work tomorrow with them in tow. They will likely drive me to drinking before the day is over.

UMA mine went back on Tuesday too. My cousin moved down to Indiana and said they get the slightest bit of snow and it is a snow day. She thinks it is pretty funny since we get so much and still function.

I know it is different with ice though. That can go for days if the temp doesn't go up to melt it some.

Good luck Dre. Maybe you could put them to work and do some early spring cleaning. How are you holding out with food. Haley is on food she doesn't like already... Just stay safe, warm and cosy.

I don't think I would like Twinkies with anything other then milk thank you.

Marita you have a hard day at work. You must have if you are willing to babysit kids that haven't been out of the house in awhile.
