Open Mike Night - Everyone is Welcome

Okay, I'll post it in a few minutes, then have some odd jobs to do. Will check back later. I hope you enjoy it.

as i read, here's what i thought...twinkle & utah m. are bookends,
and w.t.,...is the cream filling. :wizard: . you guys compliment each
other ...in ways...beyond the imagination.

Thanks Lil'G. I love books. And I love Utah so it is compliment to be her matching bookend.

That's deep!

But, the visual of that is funny, Lil G!:crowded:

Ha! :crowded:

Ya know Lil G. I have often thought about that exact same thing. It is truly amazing how you and I think so much alike.

Wheat Thins

You think of your self as cream filling? Interesting.

But seriously, who can resist a guy with extar icing?

Last edited by Backstage_Gal : Today at 12:08 PM. Reason: Good luck to the team, WT! And you think about Lil G in private, huh? Now there is a tag for YOU!

:rotfl2:
Nobody likes a naked tree!

Either that, or we can stand tall and proud like a naked Christmas tree!

Now how can you think you are not witty???:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey Celery! You are a star. A trip report dedication. Wow.
Welcome back MommyP! I loved your comment on Utah's DisneyLAND TR. Did you all know I converted to the Leash on my last WDW trip? I was all prepared for the looks of shock and horror but all I got was Positive remarks... especially from the Grandmas out there. :thumbsup2

I'm picturing the golden child on a leash!!!!
Surely you don't mean him? He's still too little, right? (How old is he? 16 months?)
If not, how did you get both the girls on a leash without getting them all tangled?

Awww, shucks, Twinkie, thanks!

I just figured out why I keep forgetting about the tree. I can't actually see it from where I sit, so out of sight, out of mind......

Although you would think all this talking about it would have moved me to do something by now. But ......... NOT!

:lmao: It was Golden Child. Because he is one. You should see him unleashed:eek:

Anyway he is 20 months going on 6 years old. There isn't anything he can't do...except maybe talk in complete sentences. He has been walking for a year. He has now added opening locked doors to his list of skills.

The girls just turned 5- they were actually VERY good. And little troopers!

Marita, I was going to clear all the junk off my dining room table today, but didn't get around to that. Guess I've been too busy cooking this weekend . . .

Goog thing I have tomorrow off for Presidents Day!

I was going to ask you if you could see the tree Marita.

My mom has had hers up for 2 years now. It stands in the corner of the rec room in the basement. She doesn't go down there much unless we are all home. We don't even pay much attention to it either:rotfl2:

Celery the star.....:cool1:

Twinkie - did the crowds not squash him? Or did his golden aura protect him?

This star has just about twinkled out. I'm going to bed. My babysitter is still playing PS2, which he probably will be all night.

Night all!

g'night everyone. I'm going to watch a little TV with poor neglected Lowell then get some zzzzzzzs. :)

Celerystalker I'm glad you enjoyed YOUR episode! ;) And thanks to everyone who stopped over and posted comments. I see Zzub also posted tonight. So I have reader competition! :lmao:

"See you" all in the morning.

Moo you get another holiday....:woohoo:

Did you say your DD is coming home again?

Night Celery...

Nab - Presidents Day off is one of the few perks of being a government employee!

My daughter is coming home the first weekend in March to be home for her dad's birthday and to go to a museum in the Detroit area to see an exhibit that she's interested in. The museum visit will be a dad/daughter activity after she is picked up from the airport that Friday and I get to spend one-on-one time with her on Saturday. I'm sure we'll fit in a birthday dinner out at some point during the weekend!

Moo, I am jealous, you get a day off.

Our Presidents day holiday got converted to a floating holiday, and I did a work from home day on on Friday, so I guess I can't complain too much.

That was a creepy episode on Desperate Housewives today!

Off to read your the celery star report now...

I agree, Desperate Housewives was pretty creepy tonight. But then, it's sweeps month.

Grey's Anatomy was pretty "out there" this week, too.

Your right Marita that was a creepy Housewives but I am glad they cleared up that whole story line though.

I have to bake a cake this week for Hubby, his birthday is on Thursday. He doesn't want anything for his birthday. DD asked me if I bought him a card and I said no not yet. Now she has been crafting up a storm.

Awwwwww!!!

I guessed it would be for all Presidents.

Thanks for that little bit of knowledge. Most people don't know much about our gov't . We usually know more about what is going on there the vise versa. But I think that has to do with American TV channels. We see your news stories and see your weather. When we are away and watch even the weather channel we don't get our weather there. But at home we can get yours even on our news :lmao:

Enjoy your day off Moo, sleep in.

Moo, I dont know when I am taking the day off yet. Whenever I feel like it, I guess, and nothing too pressing is happening at work. I like to do "work from home" days, since I usually end up working anyway (but only on things I like to do). That saves me travel/dress time, gas, and tolls, and I can my feet up on the couch! And it saves using vacation time!
I think I have to actually go to the offce the next two weeks, though.

One year, I took off every Friday for about 5 months. I had a lot of vacation time. I still have like 268 hours, but I am cautious of using them, work from home days pay more :rotfl2:

Kay's Trip report was reallly funny today, go read it if you have not yet. I tried the multi-quote, but I failed miserably.

Oh well, if that is the worst of my problems, I will take it....

Desperate Housewives was really creepy! But it left me craving pizza and salami ;) . I love that the Scavo's are happy, for the time being with that new little brat girl they have. Yikes!

I love how they hide Brie's real-life baby belly. She is so cute! I LOVE baby bellys! MommyP-hurry and get pregnant with that lil girl so we can oooh and awww over your cute tummy.

UGgggh- DH had to work again tonight. Poor guy. This graveyard shift is hard! He drags himself to bed at 7AM, just as my kids are waking up. He only sleeps till 12:00 or so. I dont know how he does it. And so far he's been pleasant. I had predicted him being an ornery sleep deprived #@&*%!

Marita- I seemed to have lost my touch with the tag fairy, sweetie. Maybe it was my cookie offering? Usually she likes my cookies.:confused3 You poor tagless, nakkie DISser! Take down your tree. I just took down my winter decorations (that are not X-mas)...and my Valentine's stuff is carefully tucked away. My front entry way is taking on an Irish theme now. Funny, I'm not the least bit Irish. I'm German. Hmph!

Thanks you guys for posting on my Pre Trip report. I feel so loved

Happy President's Day!!! DONT tell me about any good sales. I cant spend any money...
