Open Mike Night - Everyone is Welcome Part 3

Belated Happy Anniversaary, Poly!

Hope you and your hubby had a nice date.

Wow, Kay - it really is a tunnel. That's quite an ambitious building project! But it makes a lot of sense with your business.

Thanks Cheryl,

We had a great time. We went to dinner at a restaurant similar to Teppanyaki, then saw Fracture with Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Goslin.

Been to the University for Ag Day already and now we're going to our nephew's 6th birthday party. Think I'll take some Tylenol before we leave:laughing:
hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday!

"HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO THE POLY'S"

That does not sound like a romantic movie for date night :lmao:
Hope you have fun at the birthday party.

Moo-- it is raining here. Send the sun.

Marita-- I am with Kay I don't get my nails done either. Did them for my wedding and couldn't do a thing with them.:rotfl2: I will paint them once and awhile with Hannah though.

Kay and Nab, I never had my nails done till 2000. and hey always sucked. splitting and breaking, it would be different if they were decent on their own. Guess it's because my diet sucks, LOL. It's a miracle I am alive, I never eat fruit or veggies.

I have mine done in oval shape, and not very long (can't type with long nails!) And I always pick red. Today was Holiday red. It drives me nuts, every time I go they didn't have the color they had the month before :confused3

But they are very reasonable, cheap even. Little vietnamese place in a corner strip mall. $13 for fill every month or so. Can't beat it!

Sorry Moo, but I didnt' get any sun today at all.

Hubby is painting now and we are waiting for pizza to come. We haven't ordered a pizza in a long time.

Marita --I have terrible nails to. Can't grow them to long or they just break off.

That is pretty cheap. I'm going to scold you about your diet, though. What do you mean you don't eat fruits and vegetables?! Why not? Don't you like any of them? We eat romaine lettuce salads with red cabbage, broccoli and carrots most every day, and usually an apple or a banana, too. Oh, and we always have orange juice with breakfast. Maybe it counts, though, if you have wine because that's liquid grapes, right? :confused3

Last edited by NAB : Today at 06:11 PM. Reason: pizza is here...anyone want a piece?
If I weren't having Schwan's chicken breast with mushrooms (goog stuff), wild rice pilaf and corn, I would! ;)

Kelly - I just went through all that funeral stuff with my Grandma a couple weeks ago. At least maybe you'll get to see some family you haven't seen for a while.

Hope you're all doing OK.

Kay, I sometimes have trouble getting all five of my veggies/fruits in every day on the WW program. I figure it evens out over the week on the days that I have more than that. Pre-WW, I usually only had 1-3 servings. I'm into convenience - individual cartons of OJ, little bags of carrots, and bananas I can grab in the morning with NO prep time when I'm running late.

Moo that sounds good. I was going to have chicken tonight too and Hubby felt like pizza.

Good for me I don't have to cook with little clean up.

I don't get all my veggies either.:sad2:

Kay, no,not fond of veggies. Actually, if I have any, its usually the canned kind, I dont like fresh. :confused3

I need to work on my diet, maybe I'll have an apple. Tomorrow.

Now we know why you are a sneezing lardbottom: you're not eating fresh fruits and vegetables! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Marita-- do you even have apples in your house?:rotfl:

HI NAB and Marita. I just posted the next episode before Lowell puts me to work typing eBay listings, so:

DING DING DING, COME AND GET IT!

It's not really a funny episode, but I hope it's entertaining.

I love pineapple. I don't usually buy it to often because it is expensive and I am the only one that likes it.

The kids live on apples and bananas.

Kay your fast I just asked and there it is.:rotfl:

Evening, Open Mikers! Where are all the green lights? I miss talking to you guys!

Cheryl, I went to my vietnamese nail place just today. I got a spa pedicure. I ususally get a manicure too, but I didn't have time today cause I had to take my DD to a birthday party.

aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrggggggggg!! ds 21 just called (he's at college) apparently he is sick - - again!! It's his kidneys, he's in pain...

*sigh, why would a kid who drinks water (no sodas) have to have kidney stones (last year he went thru cycles of treatment to get rid of a huge stone -)

I'm at a loss!!

this comes ONE WEEK before FINALS

dagnabit!

Eeyore. I am so sorry to hear about your son's problem. My husband has had stones and they are awful. Depending on what type your son has there are certain foods to avoid. He probably already has that list, but if not, getting the list of foods to avoid is top priority.
