hey everyone

today I got good news we are officially booked at the GF sugar loaf concierge for July2nd theu the 11th!!
I wish I could have gotten main building but it wasnt available
so theres my good news for the day
how is everyone else?

Kelly, that's great! You can take me out for my birthday!! I can crash concierge even!!

NABWOOO HOOOTY TO YOUTY!

UMA Are you a Contact Pro now?

Kelly, Sorry to hear about your Grandpa passing away.

MommyP Congrats again on Noah Jude. Have you started to like the name Jude yet? Staying with the Biblical theme, how about Noah Soloman?

I just read through the last couple days and tried to absorb it all, but it's hard to keep it all straight when my brain is fried by the end of the day! Lowell is off at an auction. He hardly ever goes to auctions on Friday night. This is usually our errands and dinner out evening, followed by Star Gate and Atlantis. Oh well. I'll have to watch science fiction by myself tonight. ;)

We finalized a deal on Tuesday to buy the building lot next door (2.8 acres)that borders the golf course on the rear. I was afraid the owners would sell it out from under us. The wife called and offered it to us first, but her husband didn't know it, so he put an ad in the paper. We have wondered for quite a while if they would ever build on the lot. It's been growing up to scrub brush and weeds for 5 - 6 years since they bought it. We're just going to annex it to our land and have some extra frontage, garden space and maybe build a pavilion overlooking the golf course. So, that's my news for the week.

Your pretty young yet Kelly.

That's what Marita and Moo say to me. I just turned 44.

But I agree the years are flying by fast. Can't believe my babies will be 10 and 7 next month.

Hey, SIS!

Great news about the land! Maybe you could invite all of us over for a garden party some day???????

Nothing would please me more. We can hike through our trails in the woods, stop to pick whatever berries are in season, relax for a while with some homemade currant or elderberry wine, and in the evening sit on the big rocks around our firepit and make s'mores. :goodvibes

Congrats on the purchase Kay! 2.8 acres, plus what you already own! I'm so jealous! It's our dream just to own 1 acre. LOL! That would seem like endless property to us! I'd LOVE to have a garden! But, growing things in this intense heat and sunshine isn't easy. Plus the soil is nothing but sandy dirt with nothing goog in it for plants. I just cleared a patch of weeds out bordering our yard and threw down some wildflower seed. Things are starting to pop up. The only thing growing that I can tell what it is is marigolds. They are growing like weeds in my yard from 2 plants I had bought and put in pots on my front porch!

Hi Nab!

Hi Marita!

Hi Kelly!

Hey! Last night we planted flowers in our front flower bed. Hopefully it's done snowing in Utah for the year.

That's awesome news Kay! Yes, I am an "expert" so to speak. I still blink violently but I can get them in now, like a pro. But, the one trial (unsure of brand) isn't as comfy as the first brand. I want to try the Acuvue for astigmatism.Looking for a free trial pair coupon. Miss you Kay!!! Have you read the latest on Nebo's TR? I think we're meeting him! How awesome is that????

MMmmmm, I made baked mac n cheese tonight. It's goooog!

DH is working tonight so I get to DIS all I want after the kids go to bed. YAY!

WOO HOOOOO! That sounds great (and VERY expensive, LOL)!!! Don't mind me, I'm just jealous ;)

bday!! maybe we can meet for lunch :)
I will be 33 this year in Nov
ah I cant believe how old I am getting
You ARE just a young 'un!

:thumbsup2 That's wonderfu, Kay! That does sound relaxing. A pavilion would be great.

We have always regretted not buying more of the land around our house. No one has been able to build on either side of us because the land won't percolate for a septic system, but we had someone put a modular home a ways behind us

Fortunately, the pine trees they planted are getting big enough to form a screen and they are far enough back that we can't see in each other's windows :3dglasses

Poly - Right click, click on properties, copy the address(URL) paste THAT into the box that comes up when you click on the little image button on your post. You'll also have to erase the Http thing that will already be IN the image box. ALSO, if your trying to post a picture of your OWN, on your PC you have to upload it to a photo sharing site, like photobucket.

I never knew you could do it that way - but that's when you run the risk of being X'd for linking to another site - unless its you own? :confused3 (I also just upload things to photobucket and copy and paste their code so easy, even I learned how!! ) I have a friend that has that towel - hubba hubba - she posted a pic of it on another board, but she added a paper with a phrase, so I cant copy and paste it here...

I'm here!

The man/boy just got his last 2 wizzum teeth pulled. I'm happy to report, this time went a lot better. He got some goog Lortabs and Penicilin. His GF and he are watching movies.

SHHHh...dont talk about the View today, I didn't watch it yet. It's the Alec Baldwin episode. I cant judge him, I've on occasion lost my total cool with my cherished children. You can't take back those moments, unfortunately. Luckily, I wasn't nearly as mean as him.

Can't wait to watch the drama popcorn::

I'm wondering how Twinkie's doing on the house hunt. I love looking at other people's houses. Some put effort into the showing but then there's those who's homes smell like cat pee and taco bell wrappers.

You know wendy, I felt he was sincere, and that he was passionate about his daughter, and also I think after 6 years of fighting his wife and he doesnt know how to do any other way of communicating - its either win or lose - - hopefully Dr Phil can get thru to them!! (Our radio talk show reported that alec agreed to sit down with Dr Phil, ) I really admire how the Duchess of York and Andrew worked out their differences for the kids sake! and at least Alec is seeing his daughter - so hard... what he did is wrong, and I hope he learns how to talk to his daughter, because as her father he has a huge impact in her life!

MommyP, I was just trying to book Le Cellier for 2!

Poly, a downside of the ticker I used was having to register.

And nothaving a lot of variety to choose from :(

But I was able to make one that worked for me.

I'm SO ready for work to be over . . . might have to leave early.

Minnie when are you trying to get Le Cellier?? (we have dinner ressies! Maybe you could join us?)

A great big WOOHOOTY FOR NAB FOR 3400 POSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :dance3: :dance3: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Wildflowers are great. I hope you get a bunch of different kinds. I'm still trying to ID plants that grow in our woods. I think I need to buy a book and do some reading.

I will be there if the kids co operate....

It feels like Saturday since they have been home all day.

Should I tell hubby I am not sure on about the colour I picked for the hall. He is painting right now. Maybe it will dry darker. It is called Light Loden. It is one shade lighter green then my bedroom.

Good for you. I think you adapted to the contacts in record time. It sounds like you got rid of the one blurry eye problem.

I think it's great that Nebo and Smidgy's trip coincides with the meet. Last I knew the timing was off by a few days. It would be so much fun to meet him in person. I need to work on developing a teleporter so I can "beam myself down" for a few hours!

For Poly!
(turns out its a small world!)

I almost went in and added an edit line!! no no no - it will erase the img!!

DH just came home, so I have to be off - real world is calling!! Anybody else watching High School musical for the umpteenth time? (DD 10 owns the movie, but its playing on Disney channel, so she's watching it! :rotfl2: )

Minnie when are you trying to get Le Cellier?? (we have dinner ressies! Maybe you could join us?)
Sandy, thnks for the offer! I think I am tagging along on Celery's ressie. I'm not sure if I can get my hubby to go. He looked at their menu and wasn't that thrilled with it :scared1: I was checking availability just for the heck of it

Hi, Kay! You ought to put a hot tub on your new pavilion too!
