Just like most of you guys, I love to find out about certain restaurants performance (food, service, atmosphere, etc.) before making our ADRs.
What do you think about having a board specifically for reviews?
The board would only list dining places and we get to add our reviews.
So if I need to find out about a certain place all I have to do is go to the specific thread and check out the latest and greatest.

The mods can even decide on a rating system (if necessary)...

What do you think?

I'm just thinking of a way to compile all of the valuable information everybody have....

it's at the top of the page. it's not exactly what you described but it was what the mod's decided to do for now.

I think the problem with everyone adding their own review to it is that reviews get old, or things change, so people often just want to read recent reviews - you can find those on that board.

For the forum board itself we decided to have a reviews sub-board where reviews (and very importantly, comments and questions) would be posted. It also allows for the myriad of posting "styles" we find folks using.
