Oops, figured it out (re: Biden & his forehead)...

Just saw some (I think recent) news footage and he has a huge something in the middle of his forehead and what's worse is it looks like he has a see-through bandage of some type on top of it...

I tried to Google this, but couldn't come up with any explanations... anybody here know?

ETA - DUH, it's Ash Wednesday! I finally Googled "Biden forehead" and think I've figured it out.

That's funny. DH just asked the same question. He works from home and always has the news on while he works. I heard him yell..."what the heck happened to Biden's head??".......ofcourse I hurry into the room, expecting to see that the poor man had suffered some injury. Nope..... Just Ash Wednesday.

too funny!
i worked in a grocery store a few years ago and got kind of freaked out one day. i started noticing all these people with these cross shaped smudge marks on their foreheads. everybody was just going about their business and seemed to not even notice. it was really starting to freak me out. (i should also mention that i had recently read the left behind books......). anyways, i finally called my sister and told her about all these crosses i was seeing on people. she was completely silent for a minute before she told me that it was ash wednesday and started cracking up!!!!! DUH!!

I don't mind when people wonder what it is--but I've had a few in my time attempt to clean it off and I'm like...whoahhhh their nelly. No touchy!

The worst was an old boss of mine. He'd get his ashes on Wednesday and they'd still be on his forehead on Thursday.

Gee, wash much? That's when we figured out why he always smelled so heavily of Polo.
