I keep trying to walk myself away from this, but it's frustrating. And if they were really really worried about it, they could offer something like Lightning Lane Plus or whatever the new name is for free for those days in DCA as an incentive to get people in the part still even though it has reduced hours. Or open an hour or two early.
I am not sure how to do that in the app. But you can screen shot the ticket and send her the image, as in years past, they just scan the bar code of the ticket. My home Park is wdw so if this question is silly please let me know. How do I like a friend on disneylands site? I purchased for my family and another and we most likely will not be arriving together so I wanted to ‘be friends’ so she can see the tickets but I don’t see that option.
Can I transfer her tickets?
Those features don't exist at DLR. No user profiles - just tickets. (Unlike WDW, tickets can live in multiple accounts at DLR.) One option - you can email her the ticket and she can add it to the app herself. My home Park is wdw so if this question is silly please let me know. How do I like a friend on disneylands site? Perfect I’ll just have her add them to her account! Thank you bothThose features don't exist at DLR. No user profiles - just tickets. (Unlike WDW, tickets can live in multiple accounts at DLR.) One option - you can email her the ticket and she can add it to the app herself.
They just need the barcode/ticket number to link it to their account. In the app when you select my tickets/passes there a plus (+) symbol. They can enter the number under the barcode there. My home Park is wdw so if this question is silly please let me know. How do I like a friend on disneylands site? Not normal...I think all the tickets sold out in 4 hours last year...Is this normal or do most dates normally sell out by noon? Like last year
Last year, they also had that issue early on where (seemingly) a bunch of reseller bots managed to evade the queue and make a bunch of purchases before most anyone else could. (They eventually cancelled a bunch of those, but never acknowledged how many tickets were involved.)Not normal...I think all the tickets sold out in 4 hours last year...

Any change you make like that has consequences beyond what you're thinking.
I don't know if I need to say more than this: if those ideas worked, they would already be doing that on OBB days. Closing at 6pm is already an issue.
In a run-on paragraph: People hate that they close the park at 6pm for OBB, and this would impact many more people than it already does. Fridays and Saturdays during the Halloween season are some of the busiest days of the year. You'd be telling all of those park-goers that they have to pay full price and not get to see World of Color. You'd be losing the revenue for LLs, and I'm not sure how valuable free LLs would be - if they still somehow managed to sell out the park, the LL lines would be ridiculous. And, all the way around, they would have to do special promotions to tell everyone they were getting free LLs.
I mean, I get that people want Fridays and Saturdays so they can take their kids. But that's why they've always positioned this as an adult-friendly party. They're trying to do it on nights that have less impact on day guests.
There's no question that those nights would be popular - but that's not really the issue.
I know people have been referencing last year and saying this isn't normal for tix to be available, but last year itself was somewhat of an anomaly. Several years before 2023, tickets did not sell out instantly or within minutes. Is this normal or do most dates normally sell out by noon? Like last year
So is there no sales tax on OBB or tickets in general at Disneyland? We are east coasters and always pay Florida sales tax but I noticed they didn't charge us sales tax on the OBB tickets we bought today.
