We are flying into Ontario later this month. Can anyone provide reviews?

I'm also trying to find the most economical option for our group of 5 to get from the airport to PPH, so if anyone has any hints on that, I'd appreciate it!

Flew in about 10 years ago. Nice small airport. Took Super Shuttle .

Most people find that any savings in airfare are quickly eaten up with the higher cost of transportation from ONT. If you use Supershuttle, I'd highly recommend paying extra for a dedicated shuttle or nonstop ride. There's not a lot of traffic between ONT and DLR and you will undoubtedly have additional stops on a shared shuttle. As it is the ride will take an hour or more depending on traffic. Assuming your hotel has reasonable parking rates, a weekly car rental may end up being cheaper than roundtrip transfers for 5 to/from ONT.

It is a great place to wait when departing, wide varity of food options. Is along two large road systems, so easy to access. Terminals are spread east to west so very easy to access with out any crowding. ....but ONT is two story high to board. Ontarion also has no major city hub, so that helps in traffic and crowding.. But is a poor place for car rental as have to travel to rentals areas. fast tsa

I am comparing this airport to PDX, PHX, LAS Vegas, and Orange county. Orange county was easy to access and has a fun waiting area and fastest tsa. When waiting to board ground at orange, their are folks to help you board taxi. ONT has fast TSA Phx is downtown and very crowded and its gate waiting areas are really strange, but easy to access ground transport than PDX. Vegas is also easy rental acccess and ground. PDX, my home airport, is easy to acces because there is nothing to the north of the airport, but has very long walkways to terminals. PDX TSA is poor. PDX gets top ratings because it is modern and the gates are spread out very far, so very quiet waiting when comparing it to other airports. as in ontarito, while PHX the gates are bunched up and very loud and uncomfortable. while ONT has glass walls for gates and spread out.

FWIW, Uber and Lyft are now operating out of ONT.

I don't know about shuttle prices, but I'd also price Uber and Lyft. I think UberXL is usually either a minivan or SUV that seats up to six. Fare estimator showed $57-76 from ONT to PPH. Or you could use two UberXs, which would be around $38-51 per car.
