onsite transportation advice needed

Hello! I am a going to Disney for the first time this weekend with my daughters. On Thursday, we have a 4:30 pm reservation at 1900 Park Fare followed by needing to be at Contemporary by 6:45 for the Pirate Cruise. When I booked, I figured we could just monorail over, but now it seems that there are renovations on the monorail and there is not a single monorail running to both resorts. I am worried about time and really have no idea as a newbie.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You could take boat to MK from GF then walk to the Contemporary.

Leisurely walk is 10-12 minutes.

You can't walk between resorts. You can walk between CR & MK or you can walk from GF to Poly to TTC, but you can't walk from GF to MK or CR.
