K so I'm pretty close in my decision as where our wedding ceremony is going to be but I just wanted to be sure that if I want to have a wedding ceremony at the Wedding Pavillion with more than 30 people, I absolutely need to have a Disney reception?

A Disney ceremony by itself is not possible at 4000$?

I just want to be sure about this.

Thanks and sorry if this is a redundant question...

You are correct - if you're having 30 people, you must have a Wishes or Couture wedding upon which you must meet certain minimums for a reception.

The only way to just have a ceremony is to do a Memories package (6 people) or an Escape package (20 people including bride and groom) - both of those options also have cake/champagne.

If you are not dead set on the Wedding Pavilion at the GF, you might consider looking into the non-DFTW options that are available.

-There are ceremony-only packages available at the Coronado Springs Resort.
-If you or your spouse are affiliated with the military, there are ceremony-only packages available at Shades of Green Resort.
-Swan/Dolphin weddings offer ceremony-only packages for unlimited guests at several ceremony locations near the Boardwalk. (this is what we chose, though we did a full wedding-beautiful location!)
-There are also ceremony-only packages available at Downtown Disney.

If you are deadset on the Wedding Pavilion & no reception, you might have to consider reducing your guest count.

Can you point me in the direction to get more information on the ceremony-only packages available at downtown disney?? Thanks :goodvibes

Thanks! Ok well, no, I am having a destination wedding so I want everyone to be at the ceremony... I'll be getting the rsvp by the end of October, so I guess I'll see then but it will most probably more than 20 people! I guess good for us ;)
