Only One Thing....

Am I the only one that's totally finding it impossible to answer this question?

gosh no, I posed the question & after reading the responses I'm starting to question my own answer!!! :rotfl:
There are way too many reasons to go to Disneyland...if there was only one good thing....we probably wouldn't be having this discussion!!

Disneyland is just too magical for there to be only a couple good things :wizard:

No, I can't answer it either! It's fun reading what people's responses are but I can't settle on one thing to post my own answer.

Take pictures - lots and lots of pictures! My own pictures, PhotoPass pictures, 35mm, digital, black and white, color, people pictures and landscape pictures, scenery and characters, attraction signs, restaurant signs, bathroom signs, shop signs, etc., etc. All of it. Take pictures and capture every little detail around DLR that I could manage!

Ooooh! Good answer!

I refuse to answer. I just refuse. There's no way I can pick one thing.

Great thing, though, about the RR is that you can ride round and round without getting off. And it would still be considered one time! :lmao:

I can't pick just one thing. I love people watching, fireworks and too many rides. The ultimate would be staying in the Dream Suite. It was awesome to tour it last March.

I love to people watch also! So I would have to say sitting on a bench at the end of Main street with a waffle cone filled with Mocha Almond Fudge ice cream from Gibson's Girl. Great! Now I am craving one of those!:rotfl:

For me- Have a meal at Ariel's Grotto. We had a wonderful time there and the food was great!

Dh and DS would probably ride space mountain.

DD loves the refreshment corner so I think she would just dance to the piano music while munching on some chips.

I was going to say being there to soak it all in, but then I figured if you were there to do your one thing, you'd be there to soak it all in any way, right? :lmao:

So, my answer is watching the fireworks! I don't think I could ever get bored of those!! pixiedust:

I will be visiting Disneyland for the first time in just a few weeks. Part of the reason for visiting is to revisit Mr. Toad's Wild ride. My dad took me to Disney World many times and Mr. Toad was always his favorite. I also want to see all the rides that are not at WDW and to see the original Tiki Room again. And I want a first visit button (no way I can ever get one of those at WDW, I have been going since 1971.

I wouldn't be able to pick one attraction when I first started thinking about it. If I could only do one thing in the park, other then just sitting there and soaking up the atmosphere, would be to go to Storeybook Land. It's the first thing and the last thing we do on every trip.

Space Mountain! Its my second favorite ride in the world! I literally got tears in my eyes the first time I rode when the sweeping, majestic music swells when you come out of the Star Tunnel and see the inside of the dome all lit up. Just beautiful.

Favorite is Tower of Terror, but only the one in Florida! I just can't picture riding the California one...no random drop patterns? No thanks!

And see, I can barely handle the set drop pattern...not sure what I'd do about random ones. :rotfl: I love ToT but I'm such a chicken about falling (major fear of mine) that it really helps me to know when they are coming.

Easy answer... ride it's a small world as many times as they will let me, oh wait, not anymore. :( Just so sad. I truy thing it is not my favorite thing anymore. So that puts me at the Rivers of America in NOS people watching.

If it was only one attraction, then I would have to say it would be POTC. pirate:

Otherwise, I'm with a lot of the other people in that I would people watch. Find a nice spot in NOS, enjoy a churro and just take in the ambiance.

This question is driving me insane! :headache: I keep thinking of one thing, but then I can think of another that I'd just HAVE to do....People watching? popcorn:: Yes, I love to do that, but if I were in Disneyland, oh heck, I'd have to do SOMETHING myself too! Maybe like was already said, take tons of pictures, try to capture the little things that I am usually in too much of a hurry to notice. :flower3: But I have to say it would kill me not to go the rides. :sad1: It would be a cruel and unusual punishment to let me in the gates and say I could not ride anything! :scared1: If I could only pick one ride, I think it would have to be POTC. pirate: (Sorry, Peter Pan, you know you are my favorite ride!) :sad1:
