We were planning to stay onsite but changed our minds (again) and we are going to have one day free and "was" going to spend in hanging around our resort. Now we're planning on staying offsite and still have the free day but now I cant decide what to do with it. I was playing around with the idea of going to a beach for a day. Is that a good idea? If so which one? I'm open to any suggestions you all might have. And from experience I KNOW you can give me some good ones. LOL I'll be waiting.

By the way: I LOVE THIS SITE!!!:earsgirl:

I'd be at the Premium Outlet Mall!
If you have not been to Universal, you could go check out CityWalk and the resorts there.

Hi!
Visit the newest resorts that you have not stayed at in WDW.
Like Saratoga Springs and Spa or next door the renewed POR.
Use the transportation system from resort to resort and sample the food different resorts ahead. Character Beakfast Chef mickeys in the contemporay, lunch at the Beach Club/ Yatch Club and Dinner at the Rainforest cafe in DDT.
Use the WDW transportation system which will help in deciding whether to use a car on the WDW property in the future.

ENJOY!

If it were me , I would head to the Beach!! Nothing like a day at the beach with the waves gently rolling in, a nice sea breeze and all kinds of activities to keep you busy. Then I would head out to eat at a casual restauraunt for dinner, maybee Crabby Bills and back to the beach for a sunset walk and pictures to remember the day.

Just thinking about it makes me wish I was there with the family now.

How about one of the water parks? Are you traveling with children? Typhoon Lagoon is a family favorite in this house :D

We are really leaning towards a day at the beach but I dont know which one would be best. We will be traveling with children so I'd kinda like to find one that would have an interesting atmosphere as well as a nice beach. I've been hearing a lot about St. Pete Beach lately but I dont know about the driving distance. I havent planned that far ahead yet. Any suggestions on which beach to choose?

to Treasure Island last fall after WDW. It is near the Clearwater area. It took a couple hours to get there.

We went to John's pass and did the pirate ship cruise. The boys liked that.

Spent some time on the beach. we did not have too much time to explore, because we only stayed one night.
