After taking a nap at the Poly, we headed back to Epcot for some fun and a yummy dinner.
Our first order of business was to see if we could find some
Crocs for me. They didn't have any regular Crocs in my size, but they did have these:
I wore them last night and this morning, and they have both some negatives and positives compared to my sneakers. The main positive is that they create less friction than my sneakers, so they help to keep new blisters from forming. The downside is that I can't move as fast in them, and they don't help much with the blisters I already have from my sneakers.
After we bought the Croc sandals, my fiancé wanted to check out Innoventions, so we headed over there first.
They had some kind of exhibit on fire safety, which we didn't visit, but I took a picture of this because I thought it was nifty.
We walked by the Kim Possible booth, which we weren't going to do right now because we had dinner soon. However, we chatted with the cast member there because I noticed from her name tag that she is from my home state of NJ (I live in DE now, big move, I know

). It turned out her father used to be one of the head reps for the NJEA, which is my union.
Across from Kim Possible, a couple of cast members invited us to come see...
It was a cute little 4-D show about weather and how it affects our homes. Then they had a little interactive quiz at the end about what types of materials to build with to make your home resistant to strong winds. My fiancé did much better than me (but it's not really a fair comparison because he is an engineer and does that for a living

)
After Stormstuck, we walked on over to The Sum of All Thrills, which my fiancé has wanted check out since I first told him about it.
For those of you who don't know about it, it's an attraction where you can design and ride your own rollercoaster or...well, I forget the other design choices because we did the roller coaster
First, you go into the briefing room where they explain how to do a design.
Then, you move on to the design lab, where you decide what components your ride will have.
Finally, you get to ride your design.
I helped my fiancé design the ride, but I didn't go on it with him. He enjoyed it, but said it was over way too quickly. From watching him, it looked like the actual ride was less than a minute!
It was getting close to our dinner reservation time, so we figured we better make our way over to the World Showcase. We took the friendship boat across because of my blistered feet, and arrived about 20 minutes before our ADR time. Since we were running early, we decided to share a drink:
Mmm...Grand Marnier slushie...my favorite!
