Only 3 hours for Magic Kingdom - is it worth it??

I'm 6 months pregnant too, so my vote for the afternoon heat of the day is no. Will you be able to lift your son if he needs help on and off of rides? if yes, then I'd say go in the morning and head to Fantasy Land with him yourself. There are a lot of rides that are close together. Small World takes a while to ride and it's cool, so a nice break for you. It was my dd's favorite when she was 2. Another thing is that you can take the train back near the entrance of MK when you are done. That will save you from having to walk back. Then I'd say it would be worth it.

Small World usually has a fast line. Pooh's thoughful spot is a play area. It hasn't been busy when we went there, but we went at times that were not busy at all. I haven't waited in line for Mickey in Toontown in about 15 years, so I don't know what that is like. We waited for the princesses for about 15 min and got out of line for the fairies because of DD4 needing to go potty.

Where are you staying for the business? If you are staying at the Swan or Dolphin, I think you could ride the boat back and forth to MK and he would have a fun ride. My kids love the monorail too as a ride itself. There is a small carousel and I think train in Downtown Disney too

The boat from the Swan and the Dolphin doesn't go to MK in only goes DHS and Epcot.

To OP - Your son might enjoy Dumbo or Philharmagic too. Another similar fun ride he might enjoy is Alladin's Magic Carpet.

Sorry to say, but there's no way I'd go into a park for just 3 hours. Not enough time to do much of anything.

And I do not blame you for not wanting to go in alone being pregnant and with a 2 year old. I would not do it either.

Worth it for three hours on an Extra Magic Hour night after park closing? You bet. In the middle of a summer afternoon -- no way on God's green earth, and that goes TRIPLE if you're pregnant.

You're there for 4 days in summer, and your DH will only have 3 hours free during park hours the entire time? Are his meetings running until midnight?

In summer, night is the very best time for the MK. Take it easy during the day (you've got convention tickets, so mornings are out for you anyway.) Get the toddler well-rested in the daytime, and take him to the parks after 6 pm. It's OK if he stays up late in his stroller, he can sleep it off the next morning while Dad's at work. Do an EMH night if you can. Last trip my 21-mo rode everything she was tall enough for, and had a BLAST! (She was watching the planning video with DH today, and kept telling him about the things she liked. She likes Pirates and Buzz, but Small World, Philharmagic, Pooh and Dumbo are her very favorites. (We were at the Smithsonian last week, and when she saw their Dumbo car she got *so* excited!)

We just bring PJ's and a toothbrush to the park and get the littles ready to sleep before the fireworks. The minute that stroller leaves the park they go down for the count, but not a minute before; way too much wonder to take in.

I'd do what the last poster suggested. The parks are open later in the evenings and it will be much cooler.

Sleep in if you can and relax at the resort and the pool during the day.

I would go for it. We took DD to WDW when she was 2, and although we didn't spend much time in the parks, she loved every minute, and the look on her face when she would see the characters was totally worth every penny! Priceless!!!

You are at WDW...make those memories, take lots of pictures, and enjoy!!!
