My brother and his son, 3 y/o will be joining us @ Poly for 3 full days only. This will be everyones first trip. If you only had 3 days to see the parks then which would you choose? Are there any must do's that we can all experience together? I booked the Hoop Dee Doo. I was thinking about Mickey's backyard BBQ but it sounds like the Hoop Dee Doo. I also have the kids in a cooking class. Any other suggestions?

Do you have 3 full days, i.e. a 3-day park hopper pass of some sort? I don't know how old your kids are, but first on your list, IMHO, is Magic Kingdom. If your kids are young, too, I'd probably do MK for 2 days, taking a break in the afternoon to swim at the Poly pool and relax, and nap if at all possible. You'll have much more fun if you don't try to do all of Magic Kingdom in a day and kill yourselves in the process. After MK, I'd pick AK personally, or MGM. Epcot is really good for older kids and adults, but when mine were younger, there was not as much there that interested them.

You might want to buy the Unofficial Guide to WDW, if you haven't already. It will give you a lot of good advice on the best times to see what attractions, etc. Be sure and take advantage of the Early Magic Hour for MK, if it happens while you are there.

Last bit of advice: recognize that you will not be able to see all, even if you were staying for two weeks. Make notes of what you are missing and want to see next time, and when you get home and are depressed that your trip is over, start planning the next one!

iluvtink is 100% correct. With kids that age its more important to enjoy what you do..then how much you do. MK for 2 days is a good choice...then id choose between AK or MGM depending on what you like to do and what kinds of things your child can sit through. I loved Hoop Dee Doo. If possible get a character breakfast at MK for one of the days you go. It can be a nice way to start the day..as well as get into the park a little earlier...you wont get on the rides before they open..but you will get to some of the areas before the main crowd at the gate.

I would definately say the MK is a BIG MUST. After that it depends on what the little ones like to do. If they love animals then visit the AK for an afternoon. Or if they are really into DISNEY shows take them to MGM for the day. You can catch the Little Mermaid, Playhouse Disney, Beauty & the Beast, and Fantasmic. I recommend eating at the Sci-Fi Dine inn theater or 50 Prime Time is great. Not to many rides at MGM but there are a lot of great shows for the little ones. It is also a great place if you can get them to nap a little in their stroller. There are a lot of good places for the adults to sit and relax and have a really great snack!!! Have fun planning.
