Online tickets and Fastpass

If I buy tickets for Magic Kingdom online, do I have to wait until i receive them in the mail to book fastpass? Or is there the ticket numbers in the email confirmation to do it?

If you have your MDE account set up, they will link.

If you have a resort reservation you can call them and have them add the tickets to your reservation and the tickets will show up immediately.

You can also call the number to purchase tickets, a separate department, and they can give you a confirmation number when you make your purchase. You will have to enter this number in your MDE account. They can also mail tickets to you which canbe handy if there is a problem with the tickets on your MB.

When I bought my MNSSHP tickets, I signed into MDE first. They showed in my list of tickets instantly after the purchase. I did not have to link them. Now my regular tickets, I purchased from Undercover Tourist, so those I had to link, but even that is a very easy process.

I purchased my 2-day park only tickets through Disney website (l logged into my already existing My Disney Experience account) and they were automatically linked to each person as you purchase them. Right after purchasing you can start booking fastpasses from 30 days out from the day of purchase...It will tell you this as you prepare to charge/book them. I was able to "play" around with fastpass for several days before I actually needed to book 30 days out. The actual "credit card" tickets came in the mail 7 days later.
