Online Spa Ressies...Can't Get Through

I've been trying for a week now to make our spa reservations online. I was able to get our shore excursions and Palo, but every time I try to get the spa, it says "Not Responding".

Has anyone else tried lately?

Any ideas??


I'm irritated. What's the point of having the early booking, if you can't get through??
 
Have you called DCL to see if this was one of their glitches? They have been able to help some people with excursion resies that were because of that glitch.
 
so sorry, how frustrating! A stupid suggestion maybe but have you tried calling DCL and letting them know you are having issues? (or your travel agent) and see what they say?
 
I had a similar problem last year. I was using Firefox(Mozilla) as my internet browser and I had problems with the online reservations. Then I switch and tried through my Explorer browser and everything worked fine.
I would call DCL just to make sure you get the reservations you want.
 

I did call my TA, who was sympathetic, but couldn't help. I did think about calling DCL, but hadn't yet, because some of the people on our last cruise had tried calling when they couldn't get through for shore excursions, and were told that if they didn't do them online, they'd have to wait to do it onboard! :confused3

I think people should have a choice of doing either. What if you don't own a computer??

Guess I'll go call now and see what they say. I wish they had a contact number for concierge....another one of my little pet peeves. I think they should offer service before the cruise, like they do at the resorts. But in all fairness, I guess it's a lot harder to contact people if you are way out at sea!
 
I think they should have e-mail - if you have wireless internet, couldn't you have wireless e-mail?

Anyway - I guess calling DCL would likely be your best option - even if they can confirm any issues with the website. Is there a 'contact us' section on the website - maybe for tech issues? If you e-mail them maybe they could advise what the issue is?

I called DCL. At first the CM said that since we'd made PALO reservations, it wouldn't let us make spa reservations! :confused:
So she put me on hold, came back and said that since we'd added our flight info to the online reservation, THAT was the reason it wouldn't let us make Spa reservations. :confused: :confused: :confused3

So they were going to "erase" all of our flight info, and she said I could go back on in a little bit and make our spa reservations. We'll see about that one.
 
I agree, what about the people who don't have internet, its not fair for them to wait till they get onboard.

I had the same problem on my computer, I could make all my reservations EXCEPT the spa.

I switched computers and went through internet explorer instead of AOL and had no problem.

I did call to see if they could help me on the phone and was also told no, I would have towait till I got onboard since they do hold back spots for people without the internet.

Online Ressie Tip:

DCL told me that the website was designed to work best with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Certain parts of the website may not work properly if you use anything else. :badpc:

Hope this helps anyone who may have been having problems with the website.
 
i have been having trouble too with the spa and shore excurions. the palo comes up with no problem
